If you have a real emergency, go directly to the nearest emergency room or call 911. Ask the attending emergency room physician to notify us. You can then contact us during office hours to get a referral authorization from your insurance company.
What to Do in Other Emergencies
You can contact us after hours through the answering service by calling our regular office number. The on-call provider will be contacted and will return your call as soon as possible.
Make Sure You Get Our Call
Please note, if you have an "Anonymous Call Rejection" option on your phone line, you will need to de-activate this in order for the physician to return your call. You can deactivate this service by dialing *87. To re-activate this option, dial *77 after speaking with the physician.
What to Expect
You have access to many services at McDonough Primary Care, including preventative care. We accept most insurance plans
and can provide you with prescription drug refills. Please note that we never authorize narcotic refills after hours and there are no exceptions to this rule.
